WESCOL Type 84 Torch-End Flashback Arrestor

The WESCOL Type 84 Torch-End Flashback Arrestor is a compact gas safety device designed for installation at the torch end of oxygen and fuel gas systems, providing essential protection during professional cutting, welding and heating applications.

The Type 84 incorporates two integrated safety functions. The Flame Arrestor (FA) is designed to quench a flame front, while the Non-Return Valve (NV) prevents gas from flowing in the opposite direction. Together, these safety features provide dependable protection against flashback and reverse gas flow within the gas system.

Designed for standard-flow applications, the Type 84 features a durable CW614N brass body and is suitable for both oxygen and various fuel gases. Maximum inlet pressure is rated at 10 bar for Oxygen, 1.5 bar for Acetylene, and 4 bar for Propane/LPG and Hydrogen.

Manufactured in accordance with ISO 5175, the flashback arrestor is permanently marked with the batch information, direction of gas flow, applicable reference standard and date of manufacture for clear identification and product traceability.
